Hi All,
Thank you for taking part in the 2023 Endless Summer Trail Run Series Spring Lake 5 Mile race at Spring Lake Park in Hastings this past Wednesday. It is always a joy to share this park and its trails with you. While there are not that many miles of trail at Spring Lake Park, what is there is sublime. I love the wide open prairie start, the first meandering wooded section, the technical single-track on the river bluff, the big pine loop and the river views in the final approach to the finish. Having a hot and sultry night was a fitting conclusion to the 2023 season. It is hard to believe the 2023 ESTRS season has already come to an end, I am always left wanting more, but that is part of the series charm… we are already looking forward to next year! Runners and volunteers alike, thank you for making this a special year.
Thank you to Spring Lake Park / Dakota County Parks for hosting us and taking such great care of the park and trail system. Volunteer at the Superior Fall Trail Race / Superior 100:
There are opportunities to volunteer for the Superior Fall Trail Race / the Superior 100 Mile (the 10th oldest 100 mile trail race in the country) in Northern Minnesota on September 8 & 9, 2023. The race(s) take place on Minnesota’s glorious North Shore, near Lutsen / about 4 hours north of Minneapolis. Grab a friend, make some camping plans and come be a part of a historic event!
