Hi All,

Thank you for taking part in the 2023 Endless Summer Trail Run Series Lebanon 10KM at Lebanon Hills County Park in Eagan last week. Wow, what a perfect night for a trail race! It was so great to see all of you. As I do after each race, I returned to the race site the evening after the race to do a “once-over” of the start / finish area to make sure we left everything just as we found it. I also got out for a run on the race course. I have to pinch myself every time I run there. Lebanon Hills is one of those places that does not seem possible. It exists in a city of 70,000 people in the nations 16th largest metropolitan area and is an oasis of perfectly constructed and impeccably maintained trails. Those trails grant access to beautifully restored hardwood forests, shimmering pothole lakes, all teeming with birds and wildlife. We are extremely fortunate to have places like this and incredibly lucky to have the ability to come together a few times a year at them in order to celebrate life and running.

A huge thank you to Dakota County Parks for hosting us and taking such great care of the park and trail system. Dakota County Parks is always a pleasure to work with. HERE is a note I got from our permit administrator with Dakota County Parks the day before the race: “Have a great event and thanks for bringing so many to Lebanon Hills Regional Park so they can enjoy a high quality trail running experience!”

All credit is due to our amazing volunteers, thank you!
