Check-in starts at 5:00 PM – Race Starts at 6:30 PM. We understand that work days can be a little hectic, if you arrive after the start of the race you will not be able to pick up your number / officially start the race, however, you are welcome to get your sticker, go out for a run on your own and join us after.

Can’t Make It?
If you are not going to make the race, you do not need to notify us, we will know you are not running if you do not check in.

There is plenty of parking within a short walk of the start, a map showing available parking is HERE https://www.estrs.com/wp-content/uploads/French-5K-Parking-Map.jpg – parking volunteers will be there to assist, please follow their direction. If you can carpool it is always appreciated!

Water Stop:
Typically for our races that are 5KM or less, there is no water stop. Given Wednesday’s forecast (90F) we will have a self-serve / unstaffed water stop 1 mile into the race.

( Aspiring ) Cupless Race:
The Endless Summer Trail Run Series races are NOT cupless. Another way of saying this is that for ESTRS races with water stops, we WILL provide cups to drink water out of.  All of the other non-ESTRS Rocksteady Running races are however, cupless. What this means is that at those races, if you want to drink water at the water stops, you have to have your own cup (or water bottle). If you would like to go green and / or practice for other / longer RSR races you can procure you own cup ahead of the race. If you are not familiar with these reusable cups they are easy to find and procure, HERE https://hydrapak.com/products/speed-cup-200-ml is one example.

Weather, Heat & Thunderstorms:
It’s Summer, it can be hot. Be sure to carry water if you feel you will need it. We expect that you will use your personal judgment in deciding if it is too hot for you to run. The race will be held rain or shine – however, severe weather is a different story. To date we have never called off a race early / in advance due to the potential for severe weather – hopefully, the worse case scenario would be a delay in the start time once unsafe weather conditions have passed. If severe weather were to persist after a reasonable amount of time we would call off the event.

Race Numbers:
Bib number assignments will be available mid-morning the day of the race HERE https://www.estrs.com/2023-estrs-french-5km-bib-number-assignments/

NO Race Day Registration:
Please note that we do not offer race day registration.

Bring ID:
Be sure to bring your ID when you check in / pick up your race number if you care to have a beer after – you will be issued a wristband at this time – you can also bring your ID later but before is preferred.

Complimentary post race pizza (Domino’s) went away during Covid. Inflation and the goal of keeping ESTRS as low cost as possible ($25 per event) prevented us from bringing it back last year, but we are pleased to announce, it is back for all 2023 ESTRS events! A huge thank you to all of our sponsors and to those registrants that had a little something extra to add on to their entry fee for making it possible!

Chip Timing:
We will be chip-timing this race, your chip will be affixed to your race bib / number, please do not bend or fold your race number / timing chip. Please wear your bib on the front of your body.

Results will be posted live / in real time HERE https://www.athlinks.com/event/198965/results/Event/1054187/Results

ESTRS is a low cost event so we keep the giveaway pretty simple. You can check out this years sticker HERE https://www.estrs.com/2023-sticker-giveaway/

We will have some sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and posters for sale, cash or check preferred – Venmo and PayPal available.
