Hi All,
Thank you for taking part in an outstanding start to the 2022 Endless Summer Trail Run Series at Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan last night. I appreciate you rolling with the shortened course, 10KM to 5KM. Anytime we put a big group on the trails we want to be cognizant of conditions, our impact, other park / trail users experience on that day and in the coming days, etc. and last night taking the conservative appraoch and only doing one loop was the responsible decision. These decisions are much easier to make knowing that we have the support of such a thoughtful and conscientious community of runners. That said, I was blown away at how good conditions ended up being after all the rain we had.
I hope you took your assignment of meeting at least two new people last night seriously, I did. A couple of folks I specifically recall meeting were not only new to ESTRS, but to trail running within the last year, and running altogether within the last two years. There is nothing better than seeing people find their way “home”.

There are still some spots left for each of the remaining series races. French 5KM on Wednesday June 15, Lebanon 7MI on Wednesday July 6 and Spring Lake 5MI on Thursday August 4, we hope to see you there.
