Subject: 2019 Endless Summer Trail Run Series Volunteer Email – Spring Lake 5MI
Hi Everybody!
How can it be the last one already?! Wouldn’t it be great if the Summers really were endless? First off, we would like to thank you all in advance for volunteering for the Endless Summer Trail Run Series Spring Lake Park 5 Mile this coming Wednesday August 7th, 2019 – we are under 1 week out from the event! Without your help we could not put on awesome events like this!
Volunteer assignments have been made and can be found HERE https://www.estrs.com/volunteer-assignments-slp-5mi/ – be sure to search by last name and by job as many people will have more than one task throughout the night. Please be sure to let me know if something does not work for you and we can adjust! Take a look at the “notes” section of the volunteer assignments, you can look for the people listed as “leads” when you arrive and they will point you in the right direction and obviously, you can always look for me or Cheri as well!

Road Construction / Road Closure & Associated Detour:
Yes, of course, it is construction season in Minnesota and this one will affect most of you / those of you coming into Hastings on Highway 55 from Highway 52 and will add approx 7 minutes to your drive… County Road 42 will be closed from Highway 55 to Idell Avenue due to construction. The detour route is to follow Highway 55 towards Hastings, turn left on Pleasant Drive, turn left on County Road 42 then turn right on Idell Avenue. I have attached a map that shows this route. Detour signs are also be posted.
Be sure to pick up a sticker for yourself (this years giveaway – a different sticker for each race) when you arrive and also stay for Pizza and beverages after!
