There is some parking right at the Jensen Lake Trailhead, however most people will park at our overflow parking location –  Chapel Hills Church 4888 Pilot Knob Road | Eagan, MN 55122, this is 1/4 Mile North of the Jensen Lake Trailhead on Pilot Knob Road – See it on the map HERE https://goo.gl/maps/tiOl8  – park at Chapel Hills and walk the bike path South on Pilot Knob to the Jensen Lake Shelter / Start-Finish Area, its easy!

Please know your race / bib number at check in, you can find that HERE https://www.estrs.com/2017-estrs-lebanon-10km-bib-number-assignments/

NO Race Day Registration:
Please note that we do not offer race day registration

Bring ID:
Be sure to bring your ID when you check in / pick up your race number if you care to have a beer after – you will be issued a wrist band at this time – you can also bring your ID later but before is preferred.

Chip Timing:
We will be chip-timing this race, your chip will be affixed to your race bib / number, please do not bend or fold your race number / timing chip.

Weather, Heat & Thunderstorms:
It’s Summer, it can be hot.  Be sure to carry water if you feel you will need it, for races over 5KM we will have a water stop around the half way point.  We expect that you will use your personal judgement in deciding if it is too hot for you to run.  The race will be held rain or shine – however, severe weather is a different story.  To date we have never called off a race early / in advance due to the potential for severe weather – hopefully, the worse case scenario would be a delay in the start time once unsafe weather conditions have passed.  If severe weather were to persist after a reasonable amount of time we would call off the event.

Results:
Results will be posted live / in real time HERE https://results.chronotrack.com/event/results/event/event-29031

Swag:
We will have some sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and posters for sale, cash or check only.

A Moment of Silence:
Before the start of tonight’s race we will recognize a moment of silence… During this past Saturday’s Superior Trail Race, we lost a member of our trail running community. Jon Mathson, 41, of Eagan, Minnesota, collapsed on the trail between Moose Mountain and Mystery Mountain while running the 25KM race. The official cause of death has not yet been determined. Jon was a three-time finisher of the Superior 25KM race, loved trail running and mountain biking with friends, and was an avid birder. Jon taught Earth Science and Chemistry at Eagan High School and was revered by his students and co-workers alike. Jon is survived by his wife, Becky, and two-year-old son, Dylan. Please join with us in holding Jon’s wife and son in your thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks to come. A “Go Fund Me” campaign has been set up for Jon’s wife and son; please consider making a donation. https://www.gofundme.com/jon-m athson-memorial-fund

In Closing:
If you email us today there is no guarantee that we will be able to get back to you – we will be at Lebanon getting things ready for tonight! Everything you need to know should be on the website or listed above.  See you all tonight for the race and pizza and refreshments after!

Thank You,

John Storkamp
